The difference between mini and conventional pans is the diameter of the drum. 

Conventional drums are 22 ¾ inches and mini pans are 18 inches. They are both made in the same way.  

The 24 note configuration for the tenor pan is the same as the fourth and fifths tenor. 

These pans are ideal for children to play.
