2012

• 'Archbishop of Pan' and 'Aunty Pat' written in memory of the late Pat Bishop
• Memorial concerts held in the UK and Trinidad in memory of the late Geraldine Connor
• Scotland's first Steelband Festival  
• 1000 Pans - The largest steelband to date - Pannists from all over the UK performed at the Jubilee Gardens as a musical tribute to the passing of the Olympic torch from London to Rio de Janeiro

• Groovy Soca competition was introduced to Panorama

• The first International Panorama competition is won by Len 'Boogsie' Sharpe and Phase II
• Nostalgia Traditional Steelband @50

• The University of the West Indies Steelpan Newspaper Collection is launched
• Real Steel became the third steelband to win Panorama for three successive years
