Pan Down Memory Lane

Pan Down Memory Lane is an annual competition for single-pan steelbands and is held in Trinidad during the months of April and May.

The competition was created by Pan Trinbago to promote steelpan outside of the Panorama arena. It was first held in 1998.

Entrants consist of between 20 and 35 players and must be members of Pan Trinbago.

They must play a non-calypso tune in a calypso tempo, and it should pre-dates 2000. The duration of the tune must be approximately six minutes.

The competition is sponsored by the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TTST) since its inception.
